Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and stock rotation of pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws and HIPAA regulations
- Operate pharmacy technology including dispensing systems and point-of-sale terminals
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
