Job Overview:
We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our dynamic nursing staff. You will play a crucial role in the daily care and well-being of our patients, working closely with licensed nurses to ensure the highest standard of medical care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medication as directed by registered nurses (within scope of practice).
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
