Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA License in the state of Ohio (or willing to obtain).
- CPR and BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
