Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide compassionate support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules under supervision.
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, hobbies, and social activities to enhance mental well-being.
- Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies or changes in client health conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Current California CNA or HHA certification is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in home care or senior care settings is highly preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
