Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a home and healthcare setting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and daily activities accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Document care plans and progress notes in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and currently active in Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not always required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
