Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and administer medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide quality care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with mobility and transfers safely.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Colorado.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
