Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients during the night shift.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of Colorado.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification must be current.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
