Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with medical procedures and patient movements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient status and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Document all care provided in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License (CNA-1) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
