Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation and social activities.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties such as laundry and light meal preparation.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or GED equivalent required.
- CNA or HHA Certification: Current certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License: And reliable transportation.
- CPR/First Aid: Current certification is a plus.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background and drug screen.
- Compassion: Genuine desire to help elderly or disabled individuals.
