Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records using digital practice management software
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort
- Texas dental radiography permit preferred
