Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Maintain sterile equipment and follow OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with the front desk
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with dental practice management software
- High school diploma or equivalent
