Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and patient preparation
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-care instructions
- Coordinate scheduling and assist with front desk operations as needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license (Oklahoma)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
