Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical cases
- Take digital radiographs and impressions with precision and care
- Manage patient scheduling, recall systems, and digital records (EHR experience preferred)
- Deliver exceptional chairside assistance with focus on patient comfort
- Order inventory and maintain efficient clinic operations
- Train new team members on clinic protocols and technologies
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA compliance
- Exceptional communication skills and chairside manner
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalSoft EHR systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
