Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols for all instruments
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Coordinate with insurance companies on claims
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification
- X-ray license and coronal polishing certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Expertise in Eaglesoft and Dexis software
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
