Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
- Perform patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage digital dental records and software
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (e.g., Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
