Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verification
- Maintain clean, organized operatories and supply inventory
Qualifications
- Active DANB certification or Pennsylvania Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in a general practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and infection control
- Spanish fluency highly preferred
