Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during general and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital dental impressions and X-rays
- Manage patient records and chairside documentation
- Assist with infection control protocols
- Perform lab duties (crown/bridge fabrication, pouring models)
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or CDA preferred)
- Texas State Board registration
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- CPR/BLS certification required
