Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate treatment plans with front desk team
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-volume setting
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred
