Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient records using our advanced dental software system
- Provide chairside support during procedures including suctioning, instrument transfer, and material preparation
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain infection control standards across all treatment areas
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environment
