Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling, suction, and four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop dental X-rays following ALARA protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Order inventory and manage supply chain for dental materials
- Assist in scheduling and patient flow coordination
Qualifications
- CDA certification or RDA license (Louisiana)
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of dental insurance protocols
- Current CPR certification
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
