Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate treatment planning and scheduling logistics
Qualifications
- CDA certification or RDA registration (North Carolina)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in dental assisting
- Proficiency in digital radiography and Eaglesoft software
- Excellent interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
