Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental X-rays and perform chairside assistance
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Eaglesoft software
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene protocols
- Order inventory and manage dental supply chain efficiently
- Assist with front desk duties including insurance verification and billing
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Omaha area residents preferred
