Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform precise dental radiography (X-rays) and digital imaging
- Implement strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Manage patient flow and chairside assistance with efficiency
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Provide compassionate patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant X-ray license required
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- Exceptional chairside skills and dexterity
- Strong communication abilities in English/Spanish
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
