Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient appointments.
- Take and develop digital X-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage patient records, charting, and insurance verification accurately.
- Provide chairside assistance and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Current Colorado Dental Board RDA or CDA certification.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and care.
