Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms to ensure strict hygiene standards.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide exceptional patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and notify management of shortages.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
