Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and clinical procedures.
- Take and develop high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately.
- Coordinate with front office staff to schedule appointments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) preferred.
- Valid California Dental Assistant license.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (BLS) required.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
