Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Manage infection control and sterilization of equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for patient procedures
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks like pouring models
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
