Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs following safety protocols
- Manage infection control and sterilization of dental instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Document patient information and clinical notes accurately
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and front desk operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer proficiency for patient record systems
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
- Pass background and drug screening
- Florida dental assistant permit (provided during training)
