Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Greet patients, review medical histories, and prepare them for dental examinations and treatments.
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Instrument Preparation: Sterilize and prepare dental instruments for use, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Diagnostic Support: Take and develop dental X-rays (bitewings, periapical) and process diagnostic images.
- Office Management: Manage patient records, update electronic health records (EHR), and schedule follow-up appointments.
- Oral Health Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-procedure care.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior dental experience required. We are looking for candidates willing to learn through our paid training program.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, patient-centric demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new dental software quickly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting patients or equipment as needed.
