Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Manage patient records and sterilize instruments using advanced autoclave systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory of dental supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate scheduling and handle insurance verification processes
- Assist with digital impressions and CAD/CAM technology workflows
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant Radiology certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for patient interaction
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced clinical environments
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening
