Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal clinical workflow
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Manage patient records and digital scheduling systems
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Accredited dental assisting program certification
- Current California Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Digital radiography proficiency (DEXIS/RadioVisioGraphy)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
