Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments (exams, fillings, extractions)
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Maintain sterilization protocols and inventory control
- Manage patient scheduling and documentation
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Assist in emergency dental situations
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- 1+ years clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency in dental imaging software (eXact, Dentrix)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
