Smile Dental Partners is seeking motivated individuals for our Dental Assistant apprenticeship program. No prior experience required – we provide hands-on training in chairside assisting, digital radiography, infection control, and practice management systems. Our 12-week paid training program combines classroom instruction with real clinical experience under the guidance of our lead dental assistant. Upon completion, you’ll become a certified dental assistant ready for long-term career growth in our modern Reno clinic.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer, suction, and patient monitoring
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols per OSHA standards
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for procedures
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Provide post-procedure instructions to patients
- Order and inventory dental supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to completing our paid training program (12 weeks)
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training)
- Nevada state X-ray license (obtained during training)
