Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument handling
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records using digital dental software systems
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and front desk operations
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn dental software
- CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Valid California radiography license (training included)
- Background check and TB screening required
