Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating special dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient quality of life
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional home health aide or personal care experience
- Current Tennessee Home Health Aide certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Clear background check and drug screening results
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and empathy for vulnerable populations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
