Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques
- Support patient emotional well-being through active listening and companionship
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments per infection control protocols
- Document care activities accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain Colorado CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- No prior healthcare experience necessary - we provide paid training!
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
