Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction control
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Take dental X-rays and perform preliminary patient assessments
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Provide chairside support during exams and treatments
- Schedule appointments and handle basic front desk duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- CPR certification preferred (will be provided if needed)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated radiology training
