Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments and prioritize cases based on urgency using ESI protocols
- Accurately document patient information and vital signs in electronic health records
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff regarding patient status
- Provide compassionate care to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental training
- Assist in emergency response protocols and disaster preparedness drills
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license or eligible to obtain immediately
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
