Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for efficient workflow
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
