Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Administer chairside assistance and patient education on oral hygiene
- Manage digital patient records and assist with treatment planning
- Coordinate lab cases and inventory management for dental materials
- Support front desk operations including scheduling and billing coordination
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA or DANB) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and knowledge of infection control protocols
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety standards
- Valid Kansas dental radiography license preferred
