Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry and digital imaging
- Manage patient flow, ensuring efficient appointment transitions
- Take accurate dental radiographs and maintain digital patient records
- Provide chairside support during restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Manage inventory ordering and restocking of dental supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a fast-paced dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and digital X-ray systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to calm anxious patients
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software preferred
- CPR certification and willingness to maintain
