Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental X-rays and process film/digital images
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Administer topical anesthetics and fluoride treatments
- Ensure strict OSHA and infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DALECC/CDA)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Fluency in dental radiography techniques
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-volume setting
