Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment efficiently
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate dental charts and electronic records
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment schedules
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
