Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Prepare sterile instruments and maintain OSHA compliance
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Coordinate treatment plans with hygienists and specialists
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and current TN radiology permit
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced surgical environments
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
