Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate care urgency using established protocols
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists to ensure timely patient triage
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide compassionate patient education and support during critical moments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow
- Monitor and respond to incoming telehealth and in-person consultations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- Minimum 3 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
