Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records
- Provide post-op care instructions and patient education
- Inventory management and supply ordering
- Maintain HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- 1+ years dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- DEXIS/Radiography certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule availability (evenings/weekends required)
- Current CPR certification
