Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient examinations and accurately take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during medical procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage and maintain electronic health records (EHR) with strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and laboratory work.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), or equivalent (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
