Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, Telemetry)
- Adhere to facility protocols, JCAHO standards, and state nursing regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform specialized procedures as required
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical nursing practices at all times
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications (facility-specific certs may be required)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel and commit to 13-week assignments
