Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and errands
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
- Report any changes in client condition to supervising nurse
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Michigan Home Health Aide certification (HHA/CNA)
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and first aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
