Responsibilities
- Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties and patient laundry
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to clinical staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Transport patients to medical appointments
- Follow personalized care plans with precision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current HHA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year caregiving experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
